	Announcements Tuesday June 11, 2013 Day 2, This week is Spirit week: Today: Mismatch Day Wednesday: Formal Day for Color Awards @ 10:30 Thursday Hat Day Friday: Rider Pride Day. Make sure to follow school dress code. All library books must be returned to the library by June 14^th. Grade 7 -12 please be sure to hand in your permission slips by tomorrow. Tomorrow is the deadline to hand them in. If permission slips are not signed by parents you are not allowed to leave the school after your final exams.

	Wow, only 10 school days until summer holidays. I am sure you are all into the same frantic schedule of finishing classes, class trips, exams, year-end and award celebrations and generally trying to wrap things up for 2012-2013. It is very busy at the Division Office as well. Members of Executive Council met again on Monday, June 10^th, to further discuss how to meet the needs of the Division through organizational renewal. Discussion centered around: 1) strengthening functionality 2) focusing on mission, vision and goals 3) improving capacity 4) aligning resources 5) clarifying roles, authority, responsibility and accountability 6) Ensuring resources and supports are channeled to the schools to enable them to improve student learning outcomes to a significant degree.
